Impala has had a prestigious career for over fifty years as a production company involved in more than one hundred features with first class Spanish directors such as L.G. Berlanga, J.L. Garci, Mario Camus, Vicente Aranda, Jaime Chávarri, Pedro Maso, and a long etc. A great number of these films obtained substantial commercial success when they were released as well as representing Spain in several International Festivals and twice at the Oscars for the Best Foreign Film category. Impala owns at present 67 negatives of the films it produced or co-financed which it continues to exploit on DVD and Television.
